This cable is designed for use in stingers/Wheelips, leads, and ground clamp welding assemblies, as well as in battery applications such as chargers and wire harnesses. It features a nominal wall thickness of .060in (1.52mm) and an outside diameter of .343in (8.71mm), with a cable weight of 147 lbs. per 1,000' (67kg per 304.8m). The cable is wrapped with a paper separator between the copper and the outer low-smoke, halogen-free EPDM jacket, providing resistance to abrasion, battery acid, diesel fuel, engine coolant, engine oil, ethanol, extreme temperatures, flame, gasoline, power-steering fluid, and transmission fluid. Rated at 600 volts, it operates within a conductor temperature range of -58°F (-50°C) to 221°F (105°C). Compliant with SAE J1127, REACH, RoHS, CMRT, and Prop 65 standards, and approved under NEC Article 630 for electric welders, this cable is also suitable for battery use per UL 558 and 583.
