Designed for applications requiring increased horsepower capacity and/or higher speeds, Dayco's VX-wedge belt features a unique construction consisting of extremely flexible precision molded cogs, raw edge sidewalls for tenacious gripping power and high grade engineered polymer compounds for resistance to oil and heat. The Dayco VX-wedge belt provides significantly longer belt life without jeopardizing increased horsepower capacity on higher speed drives.

• It provides smoother, quieter operation, with less slippage and belt wear to improve belt life and reduce costly maintenance time.
• More compact design compared to classical section V-belts and optimally designed for high horsepower, space-constrained applications with small pulley diameter drives
• The Flex-Weave coating is a patented fabric construction that protects the belt core from oil, contaminants and heat, extending the life of the belt.
• Flexural bonded laces are forged to the strap body, fatigue resistance, shock loads, and absorption of bending stress without cord deterioration
• Precision-ground flanks for even seating and precise placement of the belt in the grooves of the pulley.
• Molded notches reduce and evenly distribute thermal and bending stresses and reduce noise.
• Patented ethylene elastomer compound construction protects the belt against heat, ozone and sunlight
• Meets ARPM/RMA IP-3-2 oil and heat resistance standards and ARPM/RMA IP-3-3 static conductivity requirements
• Temperature Range: -70 Deg. F to +250 Deg. F (-57 Deg. C to +121 Deg. C)
