We use an industry-leading number of friction formulations for maximum performance and extended pad life on each application. Carquest Professional Platinum brake pads also utilize a patented 4-layer HEX shim, now upgraded with aramid fibers, to provide quiet braking and reduce shim wear. We include the wear sensors for most European applications that require replacement. These brake pads are also supplied with coated brake hardware and caliper pin grease for nearly every application.
