The spiral conductor runs about 500 ohms per foot, so more ignition energy reaches the plugs while interference stays suppressed for street use. The 8mm double silicone jacket is rated to 550 degrees F, a fiberglass braid adds pull strength and terminal retention, and stainless steel plug terminals resist corrosion.
