The OE strut is inspected, steam cleaned, and media blasted to bare metal before the damper is recharged with new high-performance shock oil. Worn components, such as the piston, rod guides, and seal pack are replaced. The damper and coil are dyno and functionally tested to assure OE performance. The Arnott remanufactured strut, which is painted with corrosion resistant paint, features a new multi-ply rubber air sleeve manufactured by Continental ContiTech along with other Tier 1 components including heavy-duty crimping rings, O-Rings, polyurethane bump stop and new airline fitting.  Arnott's remanufactured OE W222 S-Class front right strut is assembled in the USA.
